Ali, I have just increased the mileage on my insurance by 1500 miles so that i can do tunnel runs, BH, southern runs etc. when i saw that w/e I thought 'yes' then shortly followed by 'no' cos i won't have the miles to go to france and back. Still I've learnt my lesson and when it comes round to renewal it'll be an open mileage policy. So I'll be looking for the same kind of deal after April 2009. Can i have a pax lap or 2 at the national btw.

I'm booked in for both la Ferté Gaucher and Folembray, though I'll probably bale out of Folembray mid-afternoon to get a decent Chunnel crossing back. No Speedferries option this time and after the fun and games on the last Abbeville crossings, I'm not sure I want to try "loading ramp roulette" again. Going to look at a mid-morning Chunnel crossing on the Friday as it looks like a fair schlepp down to the Ferté Gaucher area, so a relaxed run down there is in order.
