I am taking eurotunnel after work on Friday, so I'll be on the 7:20pm outbound eurotunnel. I'll get to the hotel about 11pm I think....I hope there will be some of you around to have a beer with when I arrive!



I'm going on P & O but i think I should be arriving about 11pm too. I'll look out for you!

I will be on the first Saturday morning train, so might be in the area for the trip down and will get to appreciate the sunrise during the drive. Going out (local time) Day/Overnight Fare | Folkestone to Calais | Saturday 14 March 2009 Check-in closes 00:22Departure time 00:52Arrival time 02:27 £22

i know that, its just i cant get an MOT because of how loud it is:

exhaust noise is clearly in excess of that emitted by a similar vehicle fitted with a standard silencer in average condition


going by that any car fitted with an after market exhaust is going to fail?!!?

Hi Joe Demon tweeks 01978 664468 ask for two decibel inserts , 2 inch £5.82 each. You cut them to fit, gum them in and that will take off a few db's minimum and soften the noise. Martin s

I am stuck without anywhere to stay on Saturday night. I got a room at the Campanile Chateau Thierry on Friday, but is anyone staying there on Saturday night? Given the Campanile has many rooms with multiple beds in them, does anyone have a spare bed in their room that I could use? I will pay of course and buy beers etc as a thankyou. Hope somebody has space. If not, I'll have to book a hotel miles away! Adrian
