I doubt Ali will come, but who knows. I've only booked the one track as I fancy having a few beers on the Saturday night and a mellow Sunday (dont get many of those), though will almost certainly kick myself later once I'm in scrapping mode again! Martin s

it's 85 miles between the tracks (according to multimap) so are we going to bother going to watch on the sunday or just stay in the same hotel fri/sat night and have a few drinkies?

Remember, if you're planning on booking the Eurotunnel, the times they are showing on their site are rubbish. That's the real timetable but since the fire, they are moving bookings to other trains which may be up to 90 minutes before or after your chosen departure as they're still using one tunnel. :(

the outgoing times to book seem to be around that, but the returns seem to suggest 30 minutes service ?

P&0 (Using LoT Discount)
Outward Dover - Calais Fri 13 Mar 2009 10:20 £33.00
Return Calais - Dover Sun 15 Mar 2009 18:00 £33.00
Includes 2 adults , Car , Fuel surcharge £4.00

so £70 return is the cheapest, for peak sail times add an extra £10 return

Norfolk Line
Dover - Dunkirk (France), 13 March 2009 12:00pm £26
Dunkirk (France) - Dover, 15 March 2009 18:01pm £26
Fuel Surcharge £4
Credt Card charge £4

£60 return, for peak times add up to £12 return

There's not a great deal to choose from in the way of hotels, the cheapest I could find were:
Hotel Formule 1 Coulommiers‎ (especially for Joe ;) ) £29 per night incl breaky (22km from LFG)
Premiere Classe Coulommiers Mouroux £35 per night incl breaky (18.2km from LFG)

Anyone had any luck finding anything else?
