Was thinking of an afternoon/early evening crossing on Fri, not sure of I can make it by 2pm, so will probably see you there. One idea I had was heading into/nearer to Paris on the Saturday evening to spend the next day doing French type things in Paris. I understand LFG is not that far away (<1 hr) and it might be the only way I can convince my other half to join me. Just not looked into the logistics yet so still just an idea. Otherwise, might go straight back on Saturday night.

who is going by chunnel or ferry ? might book the earlier return train , is the 4pm crossing and join the convoy back assuming you are arriving with plenty of check-in ( and contingency ) , so leaving LFG, its about 200miles = about 3 and a bit hours , meaning 12:00 depart sharp ?

I wouldn't mind some of this - only snag is that Mrs pincher is off to Dublin for a few days on the Monday, so I need to commence negotiations sooner rather than later thumbsup

Get started then mate! Book it whilst there is still space - you can always get a refund or credit nearer the time if the negotiations don't bear fruit.

Think I'll keep my powder dry for another time.

I think I ought to do a couple of novice days first, as it's been a while since I was on track

Right as the Ferry is just as expensive as the tunnel once I've factored in the priority boarding (which is a must for me) I'm now booking the tunnel. More out of novelty than anything else, lol.

After our last trip we were all a bit green around the gills lol. Fancy the tunnel this time, but each to their own eh. I've defo booked that slot on the tunnel. Thought it best to book now while it's still available.

Jimmy , I've also booked the tunnel on your times, i.e. 14.20 Friday, 16.20 Sunday. I think its the getting on and off the ferry thats more of a concern after last time, trying to time it so the waves went down just to get off or on!! Martin s
