Snowwhite - Once I've picked it up I'll pop over - Just be warned, Mandarin looks amazing in the flesh and jealousy can be a cruel mistress! I use the shell in yiewsley as my main station anyhow so it's hardly a detour to swing by you. Joe - I did think 'Blimey, it's gonna be a 'joe_589' twin :-S but I just had to have a Mandarin - simple as that (hell I nearly had I yours!) - the Speedlines were an added bonus :-D And don't worry, some Gaz's or similar are on my list of 'things to do' - what's the oil of choice for these Z22SE's? Mobil 1 gets a few mentions on the searches. I was using Silkolene Pro-R 5w40 for the X20XEV and it's done 100,000+ hard miles without missing a beat (touch wood! I still need it for another week at least!) Still, two mandarins running around would be a great sight to see! yes I'll be forever chasing you down but hey chinky chinky rallly

Cracking pic!

As for plans so far:

-A good service. filters/oil/etc
-A good going over with my PC and Dodo supernatural to show the colour off to the full :-D
-some induction mods (any ideas?)
-lower & Geo
-Turbo weather seals (might wait till next winter)
-repair bolster tear
-oh and driving it.

just get a big paper filter (KnN) and then buy a nice big pipe so that the cone fits just by the side vent everything else can wait (you can do my side bolster if you want! ) then drive the thing, i must have only driven mine a few days this year :(

My street is not particularly car friendly so may have to pop over to you thumbsup I do love mandarin, but couldn't have a bright orange car I don't think, I don't like the attention the car gets tbh, so being bright orange wouldn't help. I decided I wanted a Europa blue one so held out until I found a good one so I am more than happy with it :D!! I use the shell in yiewsley too, so much recently that I no longer have to tell the employees what pump it is, they know by the time I get to the till  It is about 30 seconds from where I live actually. Pay attention to Joe, modding is addictive and expensive  Although yours could really do with some gaz's or similar because it is running 16s on the front. Mine is completely standard (the VSE was a factory option so doesn't count :P!) and its perfect....... honest  I can't find any good roads for drives locally, but I don't know the area particularly well. I usually end up nipping up the M40 a few junctions and playing on the A40 between junction 5 and 8a, good road that :D If you're a local lad then you might know the area better and be able to point me in the right direction :)

Cheers Joe! I'll get that sorted. As for the bolster tear - watch this space - I have a plan - but I need to action it first so watch this space..... Snowwhite - no problem, over to me it is! (Once I've actually got the car  ) Yeah - Gaz's are on my list, need to do some searching on best spring rates and front and rear ride heights for the NA with 17/16's. As for good roads - I can think of a few over my way - I know what you mean about the road between 5 and 8a :-) I'll get a few trips sorted out.

Let me know when you've got the car, I'll come over and have a drool :) I believe the spring rates have been discussed very recently. A few people (slindborg springs to mind) went over to Gaz's workshop and found the right settings. If you can't find it just give Gaz a ring I am sure they will know what the outcome was and be best to advise you depending on how much you want to lower it. Running 16/17 combo is very common so should be no problems thumbsup

Me neither. Probably just someone who sprayed their silver car in some random orange colour.... ;)
