they are listed as Lotus part number B120B0190J for Elise S2 and Europa models, so a good chance it will fit the vx220 we need Junks to confirm ...........

the small differences maybe something that can be adapted, rather than look at aftermarket , I'd sooner just modify a small piece of the non critical sections on a Lotus CB

So circa £1100.... If you can even get one from vaux I'm sure you'd be looking at 2K but damn

yeah, but there are signs for being exactly the same part.
Would prefer not to wrench (too many weeks behind, I´m sick of it now...)XD

BTW I receive some pics of an used (more than that I guess...) vx220 crashbox for 400 pounds.
I´ll show you later to have your opinion on its shape and streghtness...I´m not sure...

Show you the crashbox pics, please tell me if you pay 400 pounds for it, and is secure to resist an impact: (maybe I have to strenght it a bit with fiber?)
It is too much crashed, and not be able to work properly..? what do you think?

Just got this from a 'friend' who knows.... All Elise from 2001-> uses the same structure The very first part number the S2 Rover was issued with was C116B0225K and as you know anything with ‘116’ means it’s fitted on VX, however Lotus replaced part number to A120B0094J back in 2005 and then to A120B0190J in 2006 and all was hunky-dory ......... HOWEVER!! The ‘A’ level was superseded to the ‘B’ level in Jan 2012 and the ‘B’ level is 7.5my Elise so uses a different tow post, so when you change the structure you use a later tow post. It will fit BUT and it’s a BIG but, as Lotus superseded the part it was also strengthened , it’s much stronger than the VX so it will effect the air bag set up. No one at Lotus can say what would happen if you fit one to a VX.
