It even looks a lot better if you do the easily accessible bits without removing it. When I got mine I removed the "Ecotec" label too (unnecessary weight ) and just did it all with Solvol Autosol – couldn't be arsed to take it off – law of diminishing returnsTo really improve the view thru the grill you need to remove the rocker box
I was sooooo pleased when the local Opel garage daubed bl**dy black paint on it to signify that the timing chain had been done
One of the Swiss guys with a red Speedster has painted the cam cover in matching red àla Testarossa – perhaps not too good to colour code if you've a yellow VX, but then OTOH the caps wouldn't stand out so much

I didn'y buy a car like this JUST to enjoy the view out of the windscreen, I bought it to enjoy it for whichever angle I, or anybody else for that matter, looks at it! I don't want just a good view, I want a car that does exactly what I ask it to do and look good at the same time! Have a bit of pride in what you've got cos yellow plastic is not the way ahead!!Who cares about the view in the back, just look at the view out of the windscreen.....................
