Cool, think I may have a busy weekend ahead!

I think I'll make a mini fitting guide up too :)

The new zorst should be arriving soon too - not sure I'll tackle that on my own tho

Its not too bad, just have a dremel and lots of cutting discs handy (to get the rusted bolts off), goggles and mask (to stop you getting rust in your eyes throat, not nice trust me) and a decent ratchet set with lots of extension bars/universal joints etc.

or take the clam off. ;)

I'm not so worried about the exhaust, but I've heard the manifold can be a right PITA!

nice to see you progressing nicely :) i wouldnt worry too much about the manifold, yes it was a PITA but removing the old stuff is the hardest, the new stuff just drops straight in lol

manifold was a bit fiddly, just not much room to get a spanner on. mine wasnt too hard its just time consuming especially a 0 degrees when your fingers stopped working

Your car is looking good! thumbsup

And the carbon centre console (turned out to be more of a PITA than expected ) together with a new gearknob and handbrake handle :)

May I ask where you got the new handbrake handle from?

The Opel dealership in Portugal said they couldn't get them anymore...

It was from ebay, they come up every now and again, if you're really stuck you can have my old one and try to polish the scratches out :)

Great, I really am stuck! My car came with a tacky aftermarket one and I can't find an original one!

How much do you want for it?
