Haha, that's a sign that you've been going too fast, the bonnet being lifted up vigourously !

I have changed the way my bonnet is secured now (with 3 points of contact, instead of the OEM 2 points), but even so it still lifts worryingly at high speeds.

ive noticed as of late that the car seems quite low, i did think that because its been raised for 10 months i might just not of been used to seeing it on its feet.. so out came the ruler..

Why would it have dropped? I only ask as I had this once where I went on a track day and the following day couldn't get the car back in to the garage as the front was now too low.

Hark, i think its because of the sidewalls. The r888's were 195/50 and the new ones are 205/45 so the overall dia of the tyre is smaller.

Only by 10mm diameter, which would be a ride height change of 5mm*

* Assuming you have 16" rims.

yea its something about there, i think its just over 5mm.. but i think they tyre pressures here are reasonably low too so that would but another reason why its lower, but tbh, its not enough to see such a drop.

either way it needs lifting a litte, othewise i wont get it in for MOT.
