Could it be that you jacked it then adjusted the suspension and the shocks didn't settle back to normal after jacking.  I find mine sits slightly higher after I've jacked it up until it's been for a little run.

It was about 30 odd on my power runs but on the logger i think it was about 60's peak.

That's pretty impressive.

I peak on track with 75 on a 3" M62, and 95 on a 3.1" harrop. (hot days)

I think my scoop has quite a lot to do with the cooler temps because i have got all that air flowing directly onto the top of the charger. Coupled with the water injection i bet i dont even see 30's peak

Well what started out as a lets whip the charger and manifold off and prep for WI turned into a massive list.

Alt pulley to change to larger 6rib
Crank pulley to change to 6 rib
Crank seal to change
Install new cam cover gasket
Timing chain to change (for gm)
Engine mounts to change
Fit WI
Fix hardtop from leaking
Re-riv nut chassis for the clam bolts
Fix seized calipers
Clean up manifold and laminovas
Install new laminova orings
Replace glass with carbon foam board.

It started out really hot so we thought we would do it on the drive.

Which manifold have you got on? Are those pipes equal lenghts?

They actually were not that bad, they have been on about 10k since last clean.

Yea, they are. Its a tullet 3" manifold.

installed the new 6 rib pulley for the alternator and had to re-align the smooth pulley.

6 rib crank pulley which i have had for bloody ages and never got round to fitting it until now.

the next thing i have to do is work out where i am going to mount my tank, and i think i have the perfect place.. i just need to find one which fits.
