Gotta save the pennies :) It had to be solid and this is all i had lying around in the garage. :lol: It works, thats the main thing :) The bolts im going to changle for stainless hex head ones but i had to get it on the car and sorted yesterday. :( i would of bought some but my bolt place isnt open on sunday :( Im also thinking of changing the brace to some square tubing, be lighter and will look better.

just having a general tidy up of the car and sorting little niggles out ready for combe.

first thing i did was tidy the garage and get some space.. i hate having no space in the garage so plans are in place to make it bigger. :)

took my spoiler mounts off and gave them a quick spray

there are a couple of runs in them so ill just sand them out and give them another coat

fitted the new heater pipe so now i get lots of hot air :)

and stuck the performance box under the dash so its not as obvious when i drive out of the pitlane on trackdays

it hasnt fallen off yet but im expecting it to. :lol:

thats it so far today, will be doing an oil change and other bits n pieces before combe :)

Heater pipe i got from cliffie, unsure where he got it. Im at combe on the 28th and then donny on the 29th I havent decided if im going to track it at combe as its sessioned, which i dont like and i want to see what the weather is like.

I got it from Forge Motorsport about three years ago. As I have no heater now it was only fair to pass it on to Chris.

I decided to fit the silencer and it is a bit quieter but ive not been out in it yet to really hear the difference.

So ive made a new splitter as the old one was fcuked.

Ive also taken all the lights apart and re-sealed them. Going to fit my poly inserts today and then its a case of put it all back together and get my stuff packed for combe.

It was very raspy, ive put the decat silencer on now, its a much nicer sound.

Stripped the car down over the last couple days because the alternator failed.

Oil from the crank case breather.. Oil level too full.

The oil made its way into the laminovas in the inlet and water system so had to power wash the manifold and get some petrol swilled around.

while the alternator was being replaced i also took the opportunity to mount a guard for the supercharger belt, one of the lads from the vx forum had an issue which resulted in a little fire so i didn't want to take the same chance.
