Chris, what did you do to refurb the lens covers?
I've got a similar problem with mine and until gforce8 or fez come up with replacements, I'm gonna have to do something similar to you
Just a sh*t load of wet sanding from 600 to 1500 and lots of polishing with a G220. it took hours and its still not great.

i decided that i should channel the air from the scoop towards doing something productive..
whether or not this will work i don't know but a couple bits of ali and some pop rivets and i have this.
my idea is that the air is channeled on top of the charger, before you all start im well aware that its only cooling the surface and the effects will be minimal but id rather have it on doing a little than nothing..

was advised by gaz that there was a new valve upgrade for my shocks so i took them off and found a leaky one.. lol
surprisingly my CL RC5+ brake pads have lasted blooming ages! couple track days and a year of driving
wouldnt air jacks be ace..

I'm amazed your toe mount is still intact, mine rotted away years ago. If you fancy a couple of hours faffing around with clams there are stainless steel mounts on ebay for £40.

the track is pretty flat but i quite liked it.. suited the vx perfectly.. had loads of cut outs again which was really pissing me off but hopefully next time in out it will all be sorted..
was looking forward to the cd of pics but when i viewed them they were all sh*t, blurry and the same and he wanted £25 for a cd with 25 pics on.. fcuk that!.
here is a vid of the session i did, including my fastest lap (so much i could do to improve it)
i will go back once the car is running 100% just so i can see what it can really do there.. (ideal was 1'10.8)
only pic i did get was this one
and 1 from my mate on the way there.
