Cheers. Ive no idea really what a fast lap is at blyton so ive nothing to compare it to. I looked at my ideal and it said 1'10.88 so just a little bit of time can be made but i recon without the misfireing and map sensor cutting the throttle i think a sub 1'10 is possible for me.

1:10 is pretty quick around there, that's the sort of times I was doing in my Europa a few years back

Fun track :-)

I recon without a pax next to me, a car that doesnt cut out and really good conditions i think a sub 1'10 is possible for me in my car. My ideal was a 1'10.8 but If you watch the vid i brake so early and coast a lot, i could also be on the power earlier in some places. I never ever felt 'on edge' so i know tgere is more in it.

The record for the layout i did was a 59.9 by some hillclimb spring formula car. The new pagani was a 1'02. Not having that chicane would probably give you a second or two advantage.

Circuit config at Blyton will make a big difference, so do simple things like where the apex cones are placed as it would be easy to take seconds of by monitoring the curbs.

Yea i noticed on your vid chris the cones where in different places, i think aswell in the first chicane there wasnt a kerb so was easy to take that quicker. Next year when i go back im going to aim for a 1'08 / 1'09 (with back straight chicane)

I did 1.18 in my old N/A on nitrons continental roads tyres. Should easily be a 1.08 in yours with you drving chris!

Has he released the new aftermarket cam friendlier firmware yet, it was due sometime around now? Might make sense to hold off for it rather than have to pay to get your ECU upgraded when it's released, if it's not ready yet.
