hi all!! i thought i would bring you upto date on what is happening! the work on the turbo installation will be the end of jan!! when it finishes i do not know.....but the possibilites are as follows: - 1. low pressure - 0.5 bar boost that produces a min of 160bhp /180lbft 2. low pressure - 0.7 bar boost that produces a min of 175bhp /200lbft 3. high pressure - 0.85 bar boost that produces a min of 220bhp /240lbft obviously things could be tweaked further!! for instance regal already have a turbo upgrade( for the existing astra turbo) that could push the soon to be released turbo to 270bhp/300lbft!!!! as things go i will let you know more!! steve d -a very happy vx man!!!!! ;)

Steve, who is the best person to contact at Regal? They seem pretty advanced on the VX tuning front and it would be good for the site to have all the detail etc.

I've been thinking of the Elise/VX as they're so different from the TVR, bit unsure about the whole sill issue though, at 6'1 with a narrow garage getting in and out could be an issue!

Ah, you know 220bhp makes sense for all the right reasons ;-) Be interesting to see how th eprice compares with other tuner. Courtnay's closest offering is: Astra/Cavalier/Calibra/Vectra 2.0 16v ECOTEC, 205 bhp/210 lbf-ft - £3750 Quite what's included in that package I don't know, web site is a bit hazy on that but they seem to know what they're on about ;)

It would be good to put together a list of all the tuners.
