This thread appeared as a link on another forum, about a Lotus Elise for sale on ebay. It was listed as "cosmetic damage repaired" but a previous owner came on the forum and said it was a lot worse than was being stated.

The knackered passenger side sill/tub. Note the deformed aluminium and worse still the torn section right at the front of the sill.
Air intake top right, side vent on the left.
