Yes, I did read that post and I think the trip to the memorabilia fair has been cancelled. Therefore, I should be able to make it.

my car is a bit hard to miss ;) - pink chequered roof :P

Why do you think that all i am into is chavved up motors?

My first clue is that your username is Pink Princess. The VX220 did not come in pink, therefore I suspected straight away you were a very special kind of forum user...

I noticed on your profile you've been here for 2years yet still don't have a VX220, I then got to thinking, why would I join a car forum for a car that I don't own? Perhaps you are aspiring to own a VX220?...

I then saw that your profession is: welder, you are also a trained mechanic. Neither of those occupations is likely to spawn a VX220 (turbo of all things according to your profile) in the near future.

You own a Vauxhall Astra, you have nothing in common with us at all. Your car wasn't even built by the same people. We do not want to get involved in your events, we are too upmarket, we don't want to be your best buddies :tumble: We are predominantly crushingly successful conservative hardliners, take YOB for example:

 For God's sake. Pink Princess has never had, does not have, and to my knowledge has never expressed an interest in having a VX; not sure what's with this pretend VX owner lark. Talking of which - never mind about being on here, why do you run a Vauxhall owners' site when you don't have a Vauxhall/how come you don't have a Vauxhall if you run a Vauxhall owners' site?

I'm not bothered by the Vauxhall badge on the front of my rollerskate - in fact I'm proud of it, but personally I find it a little odd that you seem to think we're part of the same big happy family as chavved up Novas and blinging Corsas just because we have the same badge on the front, or that .org is somehow a splinter group of your Vauxhall Online empire. Different car, different owners, different mentality.

I'm trying to bury a stiffy here...if you smoke cigarettes through one of those pipes like Lady Penelope and call people 'Darling' a lot then it's on... :groupjump:

If you wouldn't be seen dead in a single-cuff shirt, and you know the difference between a Caipirinha and a Mojito darling - it is on

Edit: just noticed you're a northerner - it'd never work Charles. Off before it was on

You still here Pink Chav? This thread is getting far too interesting to mess around with you!

You know you could learn a lot from YOB. Notice how her feisty rejection only makes me want her more...

Caipirinha and Mojito? - that's a little bit 18-30 isn't it YOB? I know my claret from my beaujolais though ;)

That is in no way at all a compliment Sir. Go and polish your shoes some more Private, whilst you think about an appropriately complimentary retort

I'm delightful. You are pointy-nosed. Where do we go from here? What is with this Joan lark Private Charles Bell-End? Do you have a secret penchant, or are you insinuating I look like a 60-something year old, surgically-enhanced, 5 times married old trout? [although she isn't - she is still remarkably beautiful :o ]

Oh yes...delightful :beat:

I do like Joan or rather Joan of years ago. I just like the style that she had, you know, she just rolled with her personality and she pulled it off so well - it's not important to be everyone's best buddy, much better to have a defined personality. No need to be jealous of her YOB, she is too old now!

We could have a great divorce together, are you sure you dont want to forget this northern business?

Depends. How do you pronounce 'grass'? And what do you call the last meal of the day? And do you eat dripping for it? And do you work in a mill? And do you wear a flat-cap? And own a whippet?

OH NO! You are good, I'll give you that - I lose more friends this way...:tumble:

Grass is pronounced GR-A (as in, YOB is A sorceress!!)-SS, not GR-AH-SS, there's clearly no 'h' involved!

Right, meals are as follows:

Breakfast - Breakfast
Brunch - No such thing, is for southern nancies, including the rest of the EU
Mid-day Meal - Lunch, but also sometimes dinner depending on how one feels
Evening Meal - Dinner or tea, depending on how one feels
Late night meal - Supper

If you're still reading:

Never eat dripping or lard
Did used to wear a flat cap when(gulp)...fishing, I wanted to look like a northern Bob Nudd I think!
Don't own a whippet

:( :( :(

Go easy YOB, I do have a heart - I've already lied once today to make you feel better :poke:

Im not sure why you are all being like this?

My stepdad really wants a Mandarin VX - So i joine dthe forum back then so i oculd research them for t=him. Ever since I have been persuading my Mum to let him have one.

Finally it is starting to work, she has come round to having one... Now we just need to find a nice one!

I only add the events in case some of you may like to come - of which some of the members have attended. I was only being nice yet you guys seem to turn it around somewhat.

I trained for 3 years at Evesham College to be a Mechanic but I do no do it as my main profession because I have a child and felt the hours were not sociable enough!
I am a welder and stil do it! In fact I love it! Mig, Gas, and even Tig (but not brill at Tig)

I DO NOT have a VX220 and have never made out that I have one. I didnt realise that you were all so anti-vauxhallers-who-do-not-have-a-vx220!! I thought this was a friendly forum that welcomes all people who have an interest in VX220's.

I tried to complete the profile but seeing as i dont own a 220 doesnt help me - but our astra is a turbo :)

Tried looking here have we http://www.vx220.org...831#entry861831

Hey Pink Princess, you don't have to justify yourself to anybody here. If you want to be part of this forum then that's cool, whether you want a VX220 or not. If you like cars and the sportier the better then we should all be happy you're here. And this talk about "we are VX owners and not Nova owners - bling or not" makes us look like we have our heads up our arses. I'm off to buy some furry dice.
