Finally got my 2.5" system fitted. Car is at Courtenays at the moment so that the mapping can be adjusted but initial thoughts 1. Seems to rev easier & not as much SC whine 2. Not as noisy as Munchers 3" system 3. Pretty quiet on cruise 4. A bit more boomy than the Milltek system when accelerating hard but not uncomfortably noisy inside the car with roof on Will try to get some Db tests done asap

Was always going to be louder than a smaller diametered system but it is not indecently loud.

Paul - mine got noticeably quieter in any case once I had put some decent miles on it.

Sorry for hold up, been busy at week end. Been speaking to two suppliers and one is even prepared to do them at cost to help us do this, people in this industry do not like how Tullet have acted and are willing to help. We are looking to build 50, in one batch to the same design (we have the jig). One thing that has been raised is seeing how this all came about one supplier said "do you trust the jig now?" and he has a point, we just picked it up the day after I had the conversation with Chris so it makes sense to build one and check it fits and thats what we are doing. As for TMS losing money on this and isn't it a crap idea, well yes it is, I'd rather we didn't have to, I'd rather we just supplied the ones we designed with Tullet but at this miraculously cheaper pirce they seem to have found but seeing as their view is somewhat different we have little choice. I'd rather lose £12k of my own money and make a point than not, its a question of honour. Laugh all you want, doubt all you want, sneer all you want but this will be sorted and you will benefit.

It's miraculously cheaper because it's a better design and takes less time to produce, with fewer welds. It's hilarious that you're now suggesting he has tampered with your jig in any way to spite you, what's the point in that? Chris has acted absolutely professionally, done nothing wrong and there's only one person who looks a prat when they start to throw mud just because someone else has dared to make something off their own back.

I dont have an axe to grind either way here munch....

But are you trying to say (diplomatically) that tullets can/will make a 4-1 equal branch manifold that will marry to a Milltek for circa £388?

TBH I dont really care about the costs here within reason....I was just seeking some clarification about where we all stand here within the percieved mud slinging thumbsup

2.5" Downpipe with cat £342.65 INC VAT
2.5" Silencer £451.56 INC VAT

Complete system = £1,240.85 INC VAT

3" 4-1 Equal length Manifold £457.86 INC VAT
3" Downpipe with cat £368.20 INC VAT
3" Silencer £463.06 INC VAT

Complete system = £1,289.12 INC VAT
