I would say Lewis Hamilton has more chance of winning the F1 title this year than anybody has of getting a 200 pound manifold.

I can't believe how off topic this thread has become. Muncher has found someone else to make a full exhaust system with various options and is offering it to the community so everyone benefits. Then Thorney comes along to slate the company and destroy any possible sales they might have got from the forum. Then people start a group buy for a product that they haven't seen and doesn't even exist in that thread. It's just plain rude and crazy how hard you have bitten.

If the manifold TMS are going to offer for £200 is made to their original design will it need the rear clam removed to fit it?

Yes. Can't imagine any way you can access a few of the studs without having the clam off.

Not so cheap then, unless you take the clam off yourself.....

I'm pretty sure the Tullett one doesn't need the clam taking off, Jon @ Courtenay will be able to confirm though.

Spoke to Jez at Back on Track about this a while back. He's pretty confident it won't be a clam off job.

Fitting mine last weekend... fitting it wasn't a clam off job, difficult but a lot easier than removing the stock one + heatshield with clam on (actually very difficult this time with my improved boot heatshield)

You're missing an important point. We developed a manifold with Chris Tullett before Muncher ever did this and Tullett have 'adapted' our design for this purpose.

Sorry John but thats just bollocks other than the fact it has the same outlet flange position as the OEM they are nothing alike, the runners are quite clearly a shorter length than the TMS one and I'd say by eye possibly even a different diameter, it's far more an adaptaion of the piper design modifed to make runner 2 & 3 the same length as 1 & 4. It even uses a solid flange to the head where as from the pics on your website the TMS one has splits as per the OEM.

No you didn't. The manifold was designed by primary designs while Chris was working there.

Chris leaves to set up his own company. You take the jig made by primary designs and get him to produce manifolds from it cheaper.

Chris makes a few, says it's not ideal in a number of ways and suggests changing the design. You won't allow the design to be changed.

He carries on producing them for you as and when you want one.

No orders from you in over a year.

I turn up asking if he wants to develop a 3" system, I suggest he may want to do a 2.5" system with normal manifold position as quite a few people would be interested in one. So together with the 2.5" system he makes, he designs and makes his own 2.5" manifold which happens to be of equal length, absolutely nothing like yours which he didn't even design!

Their just sooooooo alike its uncanny! * but then I know sweet F A about manifold design, but I'd recon you'd have a very hard time trying to say one was a 'copy' of the other...
