If it's not too much to ask is it possible to have an update on the progress of the TMS manifold!!

I have estimated the progress to date and made a list for you. Here you go...
1) Hid under the desk
2) Thought about the silly comments I made
3) Worried that not even the newbies would take me seriously now
4) Wished this thread would go away

you missed the 3inch milltek that was coming out back in january 2008. (as mentioned in the 2007 thread when the 2bular 3inch was being developed)

6. 3 inch bore exhausts are rubbish , we've tested them and they lose torque ,

We'll be releasing a 3" bore Milltek for the stage 4 and above VXT's in January. Agree with Pipo though, in testing when we first did the Milltek anything more gave more peak horse power but only at the expense of torque. Stage 4 cars are running 330lb's now and I wouldn't want that to drop by using a 3" bore.

7. Horse Power goes up as torque goes down

Should have guessed the £200 manifold wouldn't materialise until 2025, so have bought the Tullet manifold and cat. Andy has been very very helpful answering my questions thumbsup Going to fit this weekend as i have the clam off. Is there a fitting guide for manifold and cat? Also, does the undertray/diffusor bolt to the underside of the clam or inside the clam? Anyone have any pics of a vx in the air/rear undertray? Cheers Chris

The rear diffuser section sits closest to the engine at both the front and rear edges.

Sorry, didn't make myself very clear! Where the undertray bolts to the rear clam. Is the undertray/rear diffusor bolted to the outside of the clam (ie facing the floor), or does it bolt to the inside of the rear clam? Still not made myself very clear! Will take some pics when i get in. Ta

the undertray goes above the clam, it's pretty obvious at the c-clips are attached to the undertray.

Thank you sir!

Was a bit of a dippy question, which i sort of knew the answer to, but thought it best to ask as this is the biggest job i have undertaken on my own (mechanical numpty), but i guess i'll never learn unless i get my hands dirty!

I am quite sure there will be more stupid questions over the next few days :groupjump:
