One each. chinky chinky Bottom line I dont want to do this but being faced with the kind of activity that Tullet have done there is only one way to fight back - at their wallets. I remember speaking to Chris and his dad, just opened, new business a bit worried, had work but just stepped out into the World and I offered significant business based on exclusivity which they went back on. I do not agree with doing things that way. Yes, to some extent that is business but not in my book, so I either go away and cry about it or I do something about it, its not about money its about honour and if the only thing they care about is money over ones word then I'll fight in a manner that they will understand. The beneficiaries will be owners who will get a cheap manifold at the same quality as before, this will cost TMS a few pounds but I feel happier knowing that and knowing that Tullet will get what they deserve - nothing.

Thats actually a very good point, how can anyone agree to buy something they haven't seen???????

I am sure they will be fine but it is very random to agree like that

I have, Muncher asked for my professional opinion on the prototypes, and they are nothing alike.

Other than sling's says they have 4 runners and finish in the same location as the original.

I was meaning the new-fangled TMS one that is going to be produced by the recently-/soon-to-be-appointed new supplier

This is just silly. I spoke to Chris today. There was no agreement relating to exclusivity, if there was I'm sure Chris would like to see proof of that! In any case he's not sold anything to you in over a year. Any exclusive arrange you may think you have would be with Primary Designs in any case, not Chris! I don't believe the "hundreds of hours of development" line either, unless of course it's on the same basis as the previous estimates you have made for similar things. The reason his own version (which is totally different) is a lot cheaper is because it's simpler to make, it's his own design. I'm sure he'll be delighted that you've libelled both him and his business. I can't imagine he's going to dignify it with a response though, everyone who has dealt with his company will know how honest he is and of the quality of his work. If you want to burn money then so be it.

Live by the sword, die by the sword, if I'm libelling him then he knows where to find me and where to file papers, I will look forward to receiving them. In the meantime we will sell the manifold at a loss to prove a point, but I guess this means you wont get your freebie Muncher, perhaps you'll need to find another way to get stuff for your car free eh?

What are you talking about?

You mean this freebie? (Discounted as I let Chris have the car for 4 weeks in total)

I'm confident that TMS will stick by their offer made on thsi site and everyone will get one for the price advertised within a couple of weeks as promised.

I'm even confident you won't have the cut the clam to get them to fit.

After all it's not like we've been here before is it ?
