That's nudging stage 4 / vxr money! I'd definately be looking around. Vx's are very much true to the idea that age/mileage isn't necessarily an issue but condition is.

Mine's an 04 plate, 15,000 miles, FSH and in spotless condition. That's what, 3,000 miles a year so far? I won't be exceeding that, thus I should be able to get ~£12k for it in 3 or 4 years time when the mileage is around the 25k mark and all finance is settled. These cars, if kept right, can actually be a sensible investment, you lose very little in value and get a hell of alot of fun out of it during ownership
