Hi, Having gone through some of the parts I acquired with my car, I have found that the new lights I have are a pair of Euro, LHD front turbo headlights. I have the original UK turbo lights but one is in pieces, and the other is very badly scratched (the car was in a front end collision after all!). Do I attempt to transplant the dipped beam units from the old crashed UK lights into the Euro ones (how hard can it be!!!???) Do I sell (or ideally swap) the Euro ones and try and source a pair of UK spec ones? I have looked through the archives and found the thread about converting UK dipped to Continetal dipped which seemed a big job, but given that I have two complete UK dipped beam parts of the light, it may be easier than trying to get the bulb cover that creates the dip pattern to move from what I have read... or will I end up rendering a decent set of LHD Speedster headlight units as scrap????? Help?

It's easier to sell your LHD units to one of us continental Speedster owners

Agreed, it would be easier, but there seems to be a shortage of good second hand RHD turbo headlights at the moment (there are quite a few none turbo ones with the silver rims that I can get hold of), whereas in theory I have all the parts around me to make a pair - unless someone wants to swap in which case PM me (see my posts in parts for sale/wanted post 1 and Post 2)

Otherwise asking price will be cost of replacements if I can source a pair of UK ones...

Phil
