It is mint to be honest. In theory it could be run on the plates from the chassis V5 but I wouldnt be selling on that basis. The VIN number on the tub has been ground off so it looks properly dodgy! If it wasnt for the existence of this thread I wouldnt have bought it.

Chassis number ground off was part of the process iirc Pm coming your way DG

chassis came from the breakers with the number mostly ground off, think you can still read it. Was from a flood damaged turbo.

The new VIN that I got for it would have put it on a kit car number plate, but VOSA were never going to let it pass the kit car inspection. Initially it seemed like they would, but when it got serious and the more experienced people got involved it was a polite but very firm NO.

Why was that? Simply due to having a diff chassis number?
