Just got back from a weeks skiing in Are, Sweden.

Was there during the Jon Olsen Super Sessions, freestyle skiing competition and they had this along promoting some Ski google/eyeware make I've never heard of!

Looks pretty mental!

Sadly I didn't see any of our swedish VX friends out and about though!

Also the car is covered in what is an adhesive matt black tape, its all the rage here on the continent, I've seen several performance cars coated this way, looks terrible when the car is dirty, but hey who cares when its a Mucky Mucci. Cheers Ian

The right hand air vent is stuck up too. Suspect build quality on an Italian supercar, who'd have thunk it.

I kind of like seeing supercars being used for more run of the mill things like that. Beats a lot of sad owners who just buy them and stare wistfully at them, parked up in their climate controlled garages. Still think the Lotus Esprit Turbo that had the ski's strapped to it's roof in the "You Only Live Twice" Bond film looked great like that.

Don't know what the deal was with the side vents!

I saw it driving round the town a few times during my time there and didn't notice the vents in different positions other than when I took these photo's.

Also not sure if it was a Vinyl wrap or if it was actually Matt Black? Couldn't see a join, crease or bubble anywhere!

Or is Vinyl wrapping that good these days?

Lambo do offer a matt black and a matt white colour on some of their range. So, could have been paint. You can manually raise the air intakes and if it's been ambling around in traffic, the chances are they will open up for a gulp of air anyway. They close up at speed to minimise drag. Saw a Murcielago Roadster thing in bright orange in Oxford St a couple of weeks back. Sat there trapped between dozens of buses, fans sucking in as much air as it could. Not for the shy and retiring types or damp climates when it doesn't have a roof or much of a windscreen. :o

I used to go skiing with a couple of city traders who could afford such exotica. They used to turn up at the airport with no gear whatsoever. They'd travel to the resort, and immediately go out buy everything they needed clothes wise, expense no object, and then ditch most of it before returning home. I remember leaving one appartment and looking at waste bin full off worn once and discarded Armani and Hugo Boss trolleys. How the other half lives. :o

That would explain the picture of a Gallardo (With roof box) on the side of the promo bus then!

You can just make it out in the first picture.

Yeah, the guy from Evo magazine who has the orange one had the raising motors break on his and if I remember correctly it cost quite a number of £££s to replace. Must be a common problem with them. Obviously Lamborghini didnt do too much durability testing beforehand! If they want an exerienced Test Engineer i'd be happy to oblige :D
