I've just pulled my breather hose up out so I could sniff it and the smell is certainly coming from there! Tomorrow I'll be relocating it right at the back of the car!

You're all a bunch of Women! I just keep a packet of strong Menthol sweet handy in the car, it works for me! :groupjump:

I now have an extended breather to the rear n/s of the car which seems to have sorted it. I believe NickB777 has the same.

Bah! Found mine was still ponging a bit at Bedford the other night. thumbsdown

Also can someone please explain how people can smell this when its stock if the standard hose goes into the cam cover and into the bottom metal pipe?

its a sealed route is it not? sorry just trying to understand how it works and how I can smell it if it is all vented an plumbed into the engine and not to atmosphere ?

It doesn’t affect turbo’s

As part of the SC conversion the breather is often vented to atmosphere. Placing the breather further from the cabin solves the problem.
