They look good
its a nice balance with the silver wheels / black surround just resist the tempation to go painting more stuff black

No offence as it is a matter of personal taste but does the VX look better with silver or black wheels?

In my opinion, my Europa Tubby looks the best with silver wheels, V and screen surround

Sorry to go off thread topic Savvy, but i'm having that dilema at the moment myself. Got a set of both now(for my Moonland tubby)and not sure which to keepNo offence as it is a matter of personal taste but does the VX look better with silver or black wheels?

In my opinion - it depends on the colour of the VX. Some look better with silver, some with black.does the VX look better with silver or black wheels?

I loved the way mine looked with silver wheels (europa) 
but only when they were clean, and since clean only lasted a matter of hours, they are now anthracite and look good all the time.
If it was a cosseted garage dwelling toy perhaps they would have stayed silver, each and everyday use however dictated my aesthetic choices..

Thanks, don't worry I'd just had the wheels refurbished before that shot so no more black bits for me.
Plans offered to respray the wheels black when they sent them off for refurbishment but I politely declined, I like them the way they are.
Matt Silver surround and hardtop had to go as it they just look wrong on a silver car, not enough contrast to work but not close enough to look right!
