Those are darn nearly free at £270!! thumbsup :groupjump: :groupjump: :groupjump:

But how does the 268° at 050 compare, is it similar to your 288° Crane ones?

my cams has a duration at ~230-240dgr at .050" so these are pure mean. i´d say that they are over 300dgr in europen way of measure.

they do have a little less lift than mine.

i think i´m going to order a set of those too :D :D

Its that strange american duration I can´t work out:

Intake Duration 201@006 Lift .440 inch

Exhaust Duration 197@006 Lift .428 inch

It is the duration measured at a specific lift, while we in Europe specify it at zero-lift. Dunno how they translate, or if it has to be actually measured (cos of ramping etc.)

No, he means this one.

What do u think about the lumpy idle issue, that Makinen mentioned. Strange exhaust values may prove disastrous att Svensk Bilprovning (MOT), don´t u think?? ...otherwise I can´t hardly stop myself, they giving those fekkers away................

i can´t find that makinen said anything about a lumpy idle.
the mot could be a issue but i think it´s not impossible.
adjustable camgears would help the blowby when MOT-tested and we can always go for the alcoholtrick :D :D .

Rough idling is mentioned on this thread [j-body]

Basically a lightened flywheel with performance cams may cause the knock sensor to think that the engine is 'pinking' thus retarding the ignition and causing a rough idle.
