'Fraid not, that one is off their website. The pamphlet I have has only a small B/W photo.

Have a look at their site anyway, they've put some new pics recently including this one. If you click on it on their webpage it takes you to the supercharger.

just been on the site you suggested. I might just be being ignorant, but does this say it has 17" wheels on the front & 18" wheels on the back. If so it states that the front tyres are 205/45s. I remember somwhere on another thread it was brought up wether we could get 205s on the front without fouling on full lock. is this our answer. Or have I just completley got it wrong Ian

you sure can install 205\45-17 on 7x17 rims..... trade-off is... a steering rack limiter, that will take away about 25% of steering radius.

latest from rsm racing: We will have to modify the kit for the VX220 application, hopefully will be ready in about six weeks. The kit is designed to work with the stock engine so no mods are necessary. :P cheers d

What do you reckon the total cost including fitting is going to be?

very tempted-gonna find out a bit more about the delta motors s/c and also talk to regal and possibly turbotechnics to see what they think. there is also a well informed bunch of americans who use the rsm stuff on sunfires and cavaliers to quizz. basically not gonna rush into anything :poke: but on the other hand 220+brake is v. tempting cheers d

good thinkin' d ! B) yes, asking the sunfire bunch for rsm feedback would be very wise....keep us posted! cheers about the harness bar.... today I found a local steel factory that sells polished steel bars, 1,5 mm thick and 36 mm. diameter..... 4,5 € per meter.... B) B) now all I need is a way to secure it to the rollbar, either a clamp or an attachment....one thing for sure, it will be super-strong, nicely finished, and super-cheap! B)

more phone calls and chats have led to a possible DIY kit: a small supercharger with capacity for upto 300bhp ,although on a stock engine i think we are limited to about 280brake (see n.b.) including lube system pulleys, tensioners, 5th injector and can't remember the other bits, but got them written down somewhere. you would need to fabricate the brackets and pipework and decide if you want an i/c for the big power gains(upto 90% increase in bhp :jump: ) anyone interested? cheers d N.B. Testing at a given power level concluded when the engine could survive a series of 8-10 full-power dyno "Sprints" from peak torque through maximum power in 50 rpm steps, concluding with at least six seconds at full power, for a total of at least 20 very hard seconds. GM Racing successively verified the Ecotec survived happily at 200, 225 and 250 hp over numerous dyno pulls. However, as the Ecotec pushed through 283 hp at 4400 rpm, all four connecting rods simultaneously failed catastrophically and smashed through the side of the block. Laboratory analysis subsequently revealed a mid-beam compression fracture on all four stock powder-metal rods. All other components checked out fine

this is the reason why i am going with a modified 2.2 ecotec.....mine will have something like a stroker kit but more based on the btcc vauxhall engines....bastuck exhaust run a couple of cars using the 2.2 as a base and have them running +300bhp and they rev to 8500......chris from regal will be finding out more details for me on this. the project will be taking a used 2.2 ecotec and then changing head(ported)/cams/forged pistons/new crank/lightened fly wheel/and a couple of other things too......i would like the car to be 240+BHP and the same amount of torque too.... thing is the engine should be the same weight so no added weight to the car overall... but i am not sure how much this is going to cost....but it might p*ss some of the lotus boys off..... :beat: :ban:

phoned these guys today
http://www.lindenspe...s.com/main.html
superb bloke! :D
asked him if they would be interested in messing about with a vx and said he would go and borrow one from the local vxhl dealer and have a measure up and a looksee.
they are moving premises and won't be able to do anything for about 3 months but he said he will phone next week to let me know more details.
the conversion would be with a vortech supercharger using an i/c to get you an average of 140 brake and about 40% extra torque.
more details to follow, but the price :jump: would be about 5-6kish
probly cheaper than trading up to a turbo though...
cheers
d

287bhp in that case, is that what they are suggesting? B) :D

I know there are Elises with around this from supercharged K series, so suppose the Ecotec can cope as well...

but for how long?

hey punter the charger route sounds great because the n/a could do with alot more low down grunt. its all very well being able to rev to 8000+ but if you wanna do that buy a honda-its so drawn out waiting for the revs to get there. omg

No. When I spoke with Delta-Motor last, they said 'phone at start of May, so I may give them a call tomorrow. Will keep you posted as I think it may well be love at first drive. and I'd like to get it fitted at earliset opportunity and go to Hockenheim again in June. Suspect it may take 'till autumn though to get all details finalised. Don't want to build up my hopes too much, then if it is sooner it will be a nice surprise. :D

Well, 10,000 Swiss francs for the whole lot was what they told me. Plus, for Swiss acceptance around another 500 SFr. Depends on what rate of exchange but its around that figure I suppose. But they did say they need the car for a week when I last enquired, so you'd have to take that into consideration too if you were going to take the car to them for fitting. Don't know if they'd sell it as a kit, but I could ask if you're interested. But bear in mind that any fitting instructions would probably be rudimentary and in german, so you'd have to have someone who knows what he's doing to fit it. :)

Thanks mate you've been a big help. What I would do is take a weeks holiday, any excuse, and leave it with them. Definately keep me posted though cheers Ian
