Thanks Paul. Just returned from a trawl of the local motor factors, so looks like I have a temporary solution, pending delivery of the proper OE stuff.

Thanks again everyone. Your help is much appreciated. thumbsup

Shall I keep you on the National list then..? As I have a potential buyer for your slot...?

what are you lot up to, this isn't the group buy section

so just to dampen all your spirits.....

lotus stuff = £700
gear lever modification or lotus gear lever = £1k

then depending on the engine

2.2
z22yh M32 gearbox = hens teeth
swapping the internals for the astra/corsa vxr stuff = another M32 gearbox, but you can re-sell this gearbox with the 2.2 internals
Helix hybrid clutch plate = £200
Courtenay hybrid z22se M32 lightened flywheel = I have spoken to Jon about this but it hasn't progressed anywhere yet, but it saves having to fit a spacer behind the slave cylinder thumbsup

vxT
it's just a case of fitting the astra vxr M32 box and matching flywheel + clutch

Yeah, I'll happily install the conversion on someone else's VX if they'll buy me the bits to do mine. :P
