ive got the reverie carbon numbers and they are very comfy. more so than standard. completely different positioning of the lower back which i find very comfortable. just need to get some descent padding made for them as the stuff from the website is good for a short trackday but any motorway and my ass is numb. anyone found a good replacement padding for them?

fecked if I'm reading all that lol I had leather seats in mine, I swapped to std cloth and my word the car is now 100 times more comfy + in winter the seats are scarily cold, and summer they dont stick to you

All the female VX owners I've met are sticks, yet I've never heard one of them wibble on about how uncomfortable the seats might be.

I can only conclude therefore, that you are all poof

I thank you.

disagree there, I can think of certainly two that are wonderfully cushioned in all the right places  , black one and a mandarin one

Have a few burgers and aim to put a little more padding on, the seats are very comfortable for a 36" waist. Don't know if any of the girls have complained tho !

I'd go with the CG lock in the first instance given the price of them.

Just to add a bit more info. I dont slide around in the seat... ive been monitoring the situation. The pain / uncomfortable are is at the top of my leg which is the lowest part of the seat base at the back. Thanks for your suggestions, I dont think a lock on the belt would help as im not sliding, its just rubbing me thigh. Dan

I have a Ford Focus winter shed so not too much of a problem for me. No MX5 here thanks :D I find that on long trips if I alternate between having my knee against the sill and under the steering column it stops the problem. Also leaning back and sitting more on the front cushioned bit is better too. I'm happy to suffer for the driving experience thumbsup

Could you not try inserting some additional padding behind the existing padding (the central padded section is only glued in and easily unstuck)?

Is it possibly the sciatic nerve being pressured by the lumbar support. Let some air out or put more in maybe  Try nudging the seat a notch or 2 forwards or backwards and move yourself forwards or backwards in the seat to still reach the pedals. An inch can make all the difference  apparently.

Personally I find the VX seats spot on for comfort. Did the Seloc Stelvio tour last year (3500 miles in 10 days) including 8 hours driving on the first day without the slightest discomfort, dispite my knackered back and senior years!
