Just been for a run down the road and everything seems good. Does seem to be running around 14.5 to 15 on the wide band which seems a little high but I think that's to do with the base map. Got to put my interior back in then I cam have a look at connecting the laptop up with the ecu.

Should be 14.7 so 14.5 - 15 in closed loop sounds good. The fuel trims will adjust the fueling in closed loop to auto correct the map unless it is way out. Gently drive around for 20-30 mins and see if still the same I expect it will be. You can adjust the wide band settings so it is sitting at 14.7 at idle but as it is so close I would not bother.

I have the LC2 wideband and the numbers change that quickly between 14.5 and 15 In closed loop

It says in the instruction it can be due to a short exhaust

The AFR is not fixed as the ECU is constantly adding and subtracting fuel to try and keep to the target 14.7. Lumpy cams probably make this more difficult to achieve at idle. Are you happy with the LC2 Chris?

Yes seems to be doing the trick works well with the egr plug mod on the software I also have a gauge quite easy to fit just needed to extend a few of the wires

Did a bit of mapping tonight and learning how to use the software with the help of Chris. Thanks for your help as it seemed to be easier to understand on the phone then looking at the manual. I have a long way to go that's for sure but I hope to make some good progress this week.

Once you get this part out of the way Luke you will be 50% of the way there, then when we do the wide open throttle mapping with your wideband we will be 90% of the way there Then it's just a case of ignition which will give you more power. If required I did notice the ignition setting you sent me last night are very conservative You will have to get the settings for your wideband to put in the software we will need it soon. Also we will do a log session to send to peter to check the wideband is setup right and the Tmap sensor is working ok Chris

Got a lot to update so will do a little bit now and some later.

First thing I did on the weekend was set about changing my rad to the triple pass as I want to keep the heat down better with having more power. So it's the fun job of clam off.
Posted Image

I also bought a load of coolant so I can replace the radiator and charge cooler coolant.
Posted Image

Triple pass vs high pressure rad.
Posted Image
Posted Image

All in and working perfect
Posted Image
Posted Image
I also fitted my stainless steel toe hinge and gave the front a good clean up.
Posted Image

Fitted a new abs switch as mine was rusty
Posted Image

My new spacer and longer wheel bolts came
Posted Image

I also cleaned all the suspension parts up and had a good check over to make sure evethying was in ordered

Thought you had the Cornering force setup, don't they only use Nitrons?

I do have CF set-up and you should be able to see it in the pictures. No you can use which suspension you like it's just the springs rates have to be softer to match up with the arbs.

Why a tripple pass rad? I read somewhere that that was only beneficial if you f.i. race in Abu Dabi...

Not sure about that but I do know that my car temps are perfect now at around 87 driving and they struggle to get up any higher unless sitting for long periods of time.

Nice build thread, and nice attention to detail!  Any plans on audio upgrades ( kind of skimmed over the 23 pages) ?

Right I better update this as I've done a lot and bought lots of stuff. I was having problems with my lambda sensor not working with the software as my fan and mill light kept coming on so I put it down to a broken lambda so a new NTK was purchased and fitted.

Posted Image
Posted Image

I was still having problems with it after the new replacement was fitted and couldn't work it out. Peter informed me that there's 2 plugs that look the same where the lambda plugs in so I thought I would try that and swap them over and it's fixed the problem.

I then noticed after doing more software that I was getting a slight oil leak near my inlet and also a boost leak as I could hear a squeak. I took everything off and could see that it was leaking through the head where the hole is blocked off for the PCV as it was forcing its way past the phenolic spacer. So i had to strip down and take off my inlet and start cleaning the laminovas as the oil had slightly made its way in so I thought it was a good chance to fit the new seals and metal orings from the group buy while I was there.

You can see hear from chrisuk picture of where the oil was coming from having the PCV blocked off
