All I can say about it is just to get the bits (clams etc) done this weekend took 3 14 hour days and I'm still not finished yet!Absolutely. F-ing. Amazing.

Just how much work is involved in getting the Exige clams etc to fit the VX. It can't be a simple switch I guess??? Have been toying with the idea to wrap mine in a colour similar to this blue, can't wait to see it when finsihed. Big kudos to Alastair (+wife) and Haggi for this

A lot of time and money tbh. It's not a straight forward as people think as wishbones have to be changed, bodywork to be modified and the biggest pain sourcing parts which wasn't easy. I love it now because no one sain enough would really do it so makes me happy to know it's a one off 😀Absolutely. F-ing. Amazing.

I see something wrong here 😂 Do you remember saying to me I like the looks of the s3 body work, you said yes I did, i said wouldn't that be awesome on a vx. Next thing is that your doing the conversion and have bought a engine 😂😂 I would say there that I never convinced you 😛😂All I can say about it is just to get the bits (clams etc) done this weekend took 3 14 hour days and I'm still not finished yet!Absolutely. few more hits I want to sort out for him before I go on holiday in a week then he'll be coming down and it'll all be put together! In total for the bodywork and paint I'm probably somewhere in the region of 400 hours or so He's now got to help me do mine as he managing to convince me to buy all the panels of Jonnyboy for an S3 conversion to go with the A28 engine swap I'm doing this year :s

Also made a few carbon fibre parts for the edgin strip on the engine cover. I tried to get the old ones off to reuse but there only flimsy plastic and they melted with the heat gun. Looked at buying new and £40 each I decided to make some better ones.

All the mesh out and ready for the carbon fibre engine cover.

Before the end of the month fingers crossed, where I hope to have the car back and built up with the paint protection sheild on and a new Geo done again. Then that leaves me from August to Zandvoort to map the car and give it some good driving through the dales to sort any hiccups out 😀Lol Yep these things never stop When do you pick the car up

Is this a business he's running now, or just something in his spare time?
I'll be getting mine done next year, and the workmanship that's gone into yours makes me want to go to him
