Did you get footage of me driving Stuarts then? You'll know it was me because it was going sideways ;)

Nope, sorry.

It was seeing you up at the top of the track going sideways in Stuart's car that made me break out the camera for Stuart's run in your car.

Hi,

Great meeting you all :)

Sorry to hear about the 2 involved in the accident but good to hear all are ok.

Had a really interesting day and learnt so much about the car and my heavy handed steering method. High speed bend was a revelation especially under breaking. Counter intuitive to break less when the car was under steering but it works a treat thumbsup

Great to meet you all today. I have learnt so much today, but wish it was a bit drier. Bloody Fab wishing for rain, ;) but when it was raining/ hailing he was still putting in good times. Imnotworthy

Good chatting to you Steve, how did you get on in the GT3? Thanks for the in car footage.

Here's a video of the Crazy One doing what was one of the wettest runs of the day.

Anyone got any videos of meeeeeee? :)

Wing and wheel spin! - poor quality but it was entertaining seeing you 'carefully' set off down the straight!

Calypso? - edited off the bollocking you got from Andy!

Onboard - not very quick but sounds good!

Definitely up for another one of these days soon.

Cheers,

Dave chinky chinky

Also in case anyone is interested I found these links about driving techniques...

Steve.

Thats quite alright, i didnt take part as i have only just spent about £240 on new rear tyres so didnt want to spoil them too soon, haha. I would have taken a few more vids but wasnt really sure if they would be any good! It was not my camera and just records on to a 2gb SD card so not a great space for recording but i must admit i was quite happy with the results.

If there is a next time i will probably try to take part, does look like good fun!

all that water means that it was very gentle on the tyres I knew I was running low on tread before I went so measured the rears even with all the flamboyant spinning I only used 0.5 mm (ish) thanks Techie for the kind vid (was one of my fastest too)

Good chatting to you Steve, how did you get on in the GT3? Thanks for the in car footage.

I had a great night. It was wonderful to have a chat with Chris Harris and Andreas who is the main man for the gt3 rs. I want the grey one, the GT3 rs, this is the only car i would really swap my vxt for. I have managed to finally clean and dry my car out fully today.

The wheels have a recess that draws the hot air from the brakes. I would not mind a set for the vx.

Did you get footage of me driving Stuarts then? You'll know it was me because it was going sideways ;)

Or even visibly moving at all. ;)

Seriously, you give the guy a ~290bhp turbo nutter VXT with suspension, brakes, and LSD and he does the high-speed bend at... 45mph.

To be fair I would rather he did that than ran my engine backwards. Did I mention you ran my engine backwards?

Rob, did Snoop spin your engine backwards? I dont think you mentioned it at all EVAH
