I'm inclined to agree. I think the point of this type of day is to learn about the car on the limit. With the 888's the limit is a long way. 888's in the rain maybe?

plus it can feck up a LOT of moneys worth of rubber... makes the cheap day into an expensive one in no time

was at North Weald on friday - saw a blistering lap on the short circuit by a 450bhp evo on R888s - 45.5 secs. Apparently the fastest the instructors can remember.
That is a really good time! I am assuming that is on the shorter circuit. My best on that one is around 48 with a rocking 140ish bhp and kumho budget Tyres

yes, the bottom, shorter circuit. it was a stripped out evo prepared for hillclimbing.

Balls, just paid for this and considered they'd be a noise limit. I assume a standard car with VSE would be to loud?
