Easier to justify buying a decent wheel and pedals for the 360 now though :P Any recommendations?

The old Logitech GT4 wheel is brilliant so happy to wait for a dedicated one for Forza :)

I've found the standard xbox wheel ok - the forcefeedback is pretty good.

But I've never tried the Logitech one so I cant really compare the two.

Its certainly better than the standard control pad, plus its only £70 from Amazon.

Yay! Got my time down to 1:00:916 which puts me in the top 1%. Still 3 seconds off the lap record!

Yeah I find the standard wheel is ok, the feel you get to simulate the front wheels is quite good IMO. However as dannynewport says, there is some mega beast steering wheel coming out from logitech with 720 degree turn, H-pattern gearbox and all 3 pedals including clutch which should be awesome. I also read it's about £150 though :(

Ta. All driver aids off, manual shifting and a wheel. I really want to get under the 1 minute mark but I'm loosing interest in the demo :(

2004 VX220 Turbo confirmed in Forza 3 :groupjump:

Still no Nobles though :(

http://forzamotorspo...t3/Carlist.aspx

Just noticed pretty poor range from Lotus this time:

1989 Lotus Carlton
1972 Lotus Elan Sprint
2002 Lotus Esprit V8
2005 Lotus Elise 111S
2009 Lotus Evora
2006 Lotus Exige Cup 240

No Elise 111R, no standard Exige or Exige S thumbsdown

Here's the new wheel fellas;

http://forzamotorspo...or-Xbox-360.htm

Looks good. I've got the G25 and this looks a decent rival to that.

900* steering n'all.

That's the wheel I meant earlier! Not Logitech. I think I remember reading there would be 3 versions and £150ish for the top one (clutch pedal, 6 speed gearbox etc)

Hi guys, I have been fortunate enough to have been playing the full release this past few days and wow what a game!!!! The VXT is good fun (you get given it as a driver reward (around level 6 I think) so dont rush out to buy it (you get given a new car each driver level you go up). I still love hooning around in the old shape M3 though! Some great touches, I love the way when you mod / paint the car / add decals etc that in the car selection you can see your modded car and in main menu etc (you will know what I mean when you see it) Much better editor now as well so you wont have to design all your designs on the roof of a min! (it comes with a nice grid) Some great tracks too, the amalfi one is a bit tricky with a rear wheel drive and shed loads of power over those cobbles!!! you really do get a great feel for weight in the cars (the Cayene feels very lardy but boy its quick lol) Also like the new race format where you race a major race each weekend (or two) which is your typical F,E,D,C,B,A,S class but in between you get to select mid week events, you get to select 1 of 3 so you can race the type of races you like rather than being forced to race in cars you dont like. (you can still go back and do them all from the event list though if you like) Anyway I wont spoil it too much, all I can say is it is an amazing game!!!!!! Imnotworthy
