vocky.. your injector adapter
Am i right in saying you took off std plugs and put bosch on.. then did a bosch to std adapter lead for temporary?
If so, where do you get the reverse of the bosch connector (female I guess)

two methods,

cut off the old plugs and leave about 50mm of wire, then;

1 - strip about 15mm of wire, solder it, then squash it flat with pliers so that the wires can be pushed into the bosch pins

2 - use flat crimp terminals on each wire and insert them into the bosch plug pins

Excellent. Same as my original high compression conversion was before I lost some grunt going low compression. Did you run into any fuel pump problems? Where did they set your rev limit?

Enjoy!

Thanks all! Other than the SC it is standard engine wise! Larini 2.5" back box (not sure whether that is the bore or the length of the silencer! ;)) Larin decat pipe with 200 cell magnaflow street race cat welded in which is very high flow And as Neil said, the standard cast manifold. Which has a crack in :rolleyes: if anyone has a piper manifold or similar that they would like to donate to my cause I'd really appreciate it! :D (even another standard for that matter so long as it's not cracked!) After all this charger work I'm well skint! :lol: I guess I should be looking in to upgraded rods now :( more expense!

Oh, and rev limit is set to 6900 with a hard cut at 7000. There were no fuel pump concerns mentioned...

thumbsup

They had to wind mine back to 6500rpm hard cut due to the fuel pump having a wobbly at peak power. Really miss those extra revs out on track. :(
