We do offer a re-furb service and this costs £35.00 labour + Parts on top.
We can only re-furb racks with plastic bushes, as the bronze bushes cannot be removed economically. I would suggest that you check before returning your rack what bushes you have, this can be done by moving the rubber boot back and looking at the colour in the housing which the rack bar runs in.

No idea if that is really the case but nice mark up, if that is the case.Crikey, so I first need to ascertain which rack I have, then check if it rebuildable when it is off? I may just call Titan and order a new QR, but then does that have the optimised bump steer of the EP version, only £100 more

The EP steering rack was designed by Nitron but it is built and assembled by Titan.
As I found out when I had to send my EP rack back as it developed some play.

Sounds like a plan. Mine was absolutely shot when I replaced it at 62K miles.may need to get one refurbed then get mine back to the owner of the one I borrow, what do you think Matt
