Just been reading this tile, and have only recently started brwosing the site, for numerous reasons (mainly due to internet difficuties), but thought that I should add my name to the list. I am the illusive cuustomer that has purchased car no:3 that Wayne mentioned!!! :groupjump: Although, in light of recent conversation that I have had with Wayne and matching some of the comments posted, cars 1-4 were for Vauxhall. To which Wayne then said that I was to be having car no:10, but it would appear that is taken, so I think that I fall somewhere in the line between 5-10. B) I have ordered the car as a one off in Moonland, which apparently looks the mutts nuts (according to the letter that I recently received!), and intend to get the racing graphics! I have received all the registration details, Wayne advised that the car was at Motorsport (all insurance stuff done)and that my car would be here in 2 weeks (so with a little luck I should get a call by the end of the week, but won't hold my breath!!!). With regards to tuning, well have a contact in AmD (via a friend) who may be able to get the car tuned up nicely for me, will discuss further once car arrives! So here's to waiting for the VXR! rallly

Mani Just had PM from Stu, he has advised that my one has now been built, and that it too will be ready for pick up this week. So I take it that you now have your one, when are we gonna see the eye candy?

Stuart.

i asked neil about this at the National meet - he said you can pick it up, but no chance of a tour... Stu or the dealers reckon different....

Neil also said they were only going to make 3-5 a week, whereas Stu said 5-10

have i made it up or was it also mentioned that Gavin K (or simliar) would be there if you picked it up @Hethel and would give you a couple of pax around in the sprint???

I've lost the plot whats happening now!! I just want to get my grubby mitts on mine ASAFP rallly

should be able to. My stickers are going on at Hethel. Alphabet just need to sort it out with Lotus security so that they are allowed on site. I think Wayne is sorting this out for me nearer the time.

I guess they can do it at hethel.....I'm getting them to come and do the car at Birmingham, seemed better for me. They do charge time and mileage though.

yes Gav Kershaw would be great....not too sure that his driving would be good for the cars break in period.

that reminds me....do I take it slow for the 1st 1000 miles or do I give it some..
I have just read an alternative version on how a car engine should be broken in----basically make sure you give it some for th 200 miles as its a lot better for piston seal

see link

what do you guys think....take it slow or give it some??
