That's going to be like a red rag to a bull for all the wanna be boy racers, I can see you are up for some sport.![]()
Thanks for the pictures, whilst I will not be requiring a full set of stickers as a matter of interest what is the cost?

The stickers cost around £450 and it costs around £300 to get alphabet to put them on. These are the guys who make and apply the stickers for the touring cars.
My VXR is only going to be used for trackdays and the occasional meets so the stickers will be fine going round the track.
As for boy racers my VXR will be producing roughly 320bhp and around 360lb of torque once i have run it in and Louise has got used to the standard power of the VXR (provided she passes her test this month). Ferraris will have trouble staying with me let alone chaved up corsas once it's ready

Just need to sort the driveshafts out for it and possibly a different gearbox. The other option is to try and strenthen 2nd and 3rd gears as these take most hammer on track. Don't know if this can be done though.
The only thing that is going to p*ss me off is people will still come up to me and ask if it's a vauxhall or if it's a kit car

My VXR goes in once i've run the engine in. 300bhp and 325lb of torque. Just need to sort the gearbox and a few other bits out. I'm going to speak to Thorney on Wednesday about it all.

two days ago it was 300/325, today 320/360.... Tomorrow?? I understand your enthusiasm, but please, those claims and "just sort a gb" is just being glib.

Orrrr just maybe.....

just picked up a message on my answerphone..........
apparently....all the first customer cars will be quarantined for QC inspection. VXL now informs me that the car will not be delivered until early next week or even by Friday next week....does this sound familiar guys????
I just cant understand it.....spoke to STU, got a text back to say car is ready.....the dealer tried to chase up Neil about delivery...was told Monday/Tuesday at latest and then this...
The real bad news is that I had re-booked Armourfend to come and do it on Wednesday...after all I was expecting the car on Friday (took the dealers advice and played it safe and booked on Wednesday).....
well the bad news is that by the time I got the message....it was 7pm....I cant contact armourfend and it will be first thing in the morning. Armourfend warned me that I will have to pay if I cancelled within 24 hours...

well....I am paying...and there is more...
I was looking forward to take the car to Luxemburg....when I mean looking forward....I was really looking forward to it. Remember I was suppose to have the VXR before le Mans....it didnt arrive...at least Stu helped out at the time with a manaro.
Well Luxemburg is looming and I am going through the same stress as before.....the bottom line is that armourfend need at least 1 weeks notice to book you in, so if ....and I say IF my VXR arrives next week, I may not have enough time to armourfend it and get the car ready for the trip...
the bottom line is that even if by a miracle armourfend fit me in.....(cant see it happening as this is the 3rd time I am cancelling)...the car will not be broken in. And its no fun trying to keep up with other VX when all I can do is rev up to 3000....., and its even less fun driving on your own when everyones gone ahead...
I am sorry guys but I have lost hope....cant even look forward to Luxemburg as I may not have a car (can take existing vx - insurance ran out 2 weeks ago)
