Have been reading all the little comments, and hoping and praying to get a call etc, but still no news on my little baby, was hoping that now Mani has been advised his at dealership (probabbly now is his hot little hands tho!), but all is silent! How long does it take these guys to AF ad fit the stickers, I know they are different companies, but anyone got any ideas?

well......... picked the baby up....say no more engine is sweet and handling is bang on....just glad that I did not go for the ohlins..... as the standard VXR setup is hard enough...not to hard but you can feel it when the road gets rough.. Stu and team have done brilliant job with interior...all black leather and alcantara.. Armourfend came up and did top job on the car......charged me 114 to travel up....but I have the number of the local installer (who incidently travelled up from Worcestershire on behalf on armourfend) ...so if you are interested email me and I'll pass on details. just rushing off now to take another spin... I've just been told by my local dealer that I've managed to secure the last available VXR - delivery sometime in early September. I don't know the number - I've asked the dealer to find out for me. I'm going for the Miltek exhaust and the precut dash (for the radio). I'm trading up from my NA VX (Silver) that I've had for two years (and done 40K miles in). Mani - I live in Stratford Upon Avon and would like to get the car "Armourfended" - can you let me have the number of the local (Worcester) installer you mentioned?

Early Sept... I've had mine on order for a couple of weeks and was told end of Sept, pos. later Too much confusion! arrg Stu or Neil Can someone put any light on this. Stuart Miles (Anxious VXR purchaser ) Edit to add... really I am just very paranoid about not being on the list and it's all a dream.

Since my last posting the dealer has rung to tell me that I can't have any factory options - so I don't know whether that means that the VXR he's got me is one that has been built or is nearly completed (perhaps a cancelled order?). Perhaps that explains the early September delivery date? Is the Miltek exhaust a factory option or a dealer option?

As far as I know the Miltek and cut out are both dealer fit options. Only the Ohlins is a factory option.

Hi Munkeh and welcome! I ordered my VXR about 4 weeks ago and was given a delivery date of Sept/Oct so work that one out. Decided to wait for the Ohlins to see what the other opinions were and from what Mani is saying it was a good move. I am still debating the exhaust, the insurance company will decide that one for me.
