Mani When I read the cataloge spec for the VXR I thought a buzzer was installed to alert you that the lights were on when you get out of the car? I may be wrong here but as I recall the VXR had all of the VX features which included a lights on buzzer If not they are normally just a plug in unit.

Guys, I forgot to add one little comment, car no:10 is mine, so don't know how this numbering idea works? Sorry Evo mate, I know that you have been eagerly awaiting on car 10!

ratboiler....as R1 Nur confirms...there is a buzzer....it seems there was a problem further down raher than the switch...sticky relay/ light control module..

the switch turned on /off just fine....its just that the lights remained on ireespective....

well the problem has not reoccurred ....just need to make sure that when I switch my lights off...they are indeed off...

Did not know what number we were getting until Boxy arrived at Hethel to pick the car up.

HF as i mentioned before i think youre getting youre order number mixed up with build number.there not necessaraly(spell)the same they dont number the cars in any particular order just like it was with the lightnings. as it happens my build and order number where the same but this was just fluke ian

how many people have gone for the VXR back box? How many of us would be interested in a groupp buy of a vxr exhaust back box/ full system (minus cat)?? Mani

I would be interested in a full system, can't see the point of a half system. But can you give me an indication of the power increase, and does the engine have to be remapped can your local Vauxhall VXR dealer handle it? When questioning the dealer they confirmed that as it is an approved Vauxhall system then it and the car are covered under the warrenty. The crunch factor is how much they crank up the insurance, does anybody have an indication in % how much this would add to the insurance? I was also told that the exhaust would be fitted by the dealer not at the factory, there by you get the standard system back should you ever need to fit it too sell, I suppose. I know it sounds fine as I have driven one with a half exhaust.

Ive orderd a back box, and I have a feeling someone droped a bollock!!!! Car number 10 was supposed to be my car, but it has been given to........... Boxey, but looking at the car he has received it did not have it fitted, no sunvisor, and no sterio fitting thingamie, and knowing Drive vaux, they did not put my order in!!! for these things, have spoken to customer care and am awaiting what has happened. Did speak to a bloke last week he said my car was coming(10) but was taken aback when i mentioned the exhaust etc etc!!! So what number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would guess may be 10-20bhp without map....with map...take your choice...270+. The problem with the increased hp will be heat, so the higher you go ..the more heat you will need to get rid off...charge cooler will sort things out ...again fitted at AMD The back box is an approved VXL option, show no problems with warranty there. The full system is not...but that said VXL still need to honour the warranty of parts which are not directly affected by the non-approved part. Insurance- well how much you pay will depend on your insurance company....I guess some are mod friendly others aren't. anybody else interested? Mani

Am very interested in the whole lot Am seriously looking to take the car to AmD after doing the grphix to get the car chipped, have full exhaust and charge cooled, the equivalent to their Stage three spec I hope

oh...by the way ..my baby has the engine management light on....something to do with the filter /air mass flow meter... ..apparently it may be the performance filter having too much oil on it... well Stu is on the case...and one has been ordered.. Mani
