Myself , R1 and Andym172 have been using an ITG replacement air filter in our cars. I've used mine in excess of 10k and not had an AMM go yet, however with the full induction kit it went within a matter of 500 miles. Clearly Vauxhall have done no testing on this issue and will, I expect go back to a paper filter used in the VXT. If you want the benefits of a performance filter, go for the ITG, not only does it filter better than any other aftermarket one, it also *shouldn't* blow your AMM all the time. Mani I wouldn't bother getting a spare, this will happen every 1-2k miles without fail unless they change the filter. Its plain to see Vauxhall did no research into this and I could have predicted this the day it was announced.

Dave, i think if vxl had asked any of us vxt owners who have dabbled with induction kits we all would have said dont do it. As for me and Bletch carrying spare amm's we are both running modded air box's which could or could not blow the amm, but were both prepared to run that risk for the induction noise you get is worth it :D .

On Friday, Lotus told me that by the end of next week, all VXR cars will be built to the pre-motorsport stage

great, but its the motorsport stage that is taking the extra time  OK, bit of rough maths here...

Out of 61 cars(ist 4 are Vauxhall cars), we have 18 orders. Of the 18, 7 have been delivered thumbsup

If our orders are "normally distributed" :P (7 of 18), then Vauxhall/lotus are 38% thru the run. Mani got his on 19th July, VXr220 13th Aug. That 20 work days between..... So, ETA of last order is 52 workdays(20/38%) which is 29th Sept!

So, what does that tell us?? Not much unless the 38% is correct!!! And who knows what is happenning with the order no.'s :drink: (they look like delivered by date of order....)

Sorry for the error - I read your post of Jul 29th 20:41 a bit to quickly and latched on to the 'Yes, & another tomorrow' as a car for yourself, however may I ask who's car you were refering to - Joss, Annie or ??? - and was it collected on 30th ?

I've just been to Tesco's in Loughborough - but not in the VXR - an popped into Archie Moss to look at the VXR in the showroom and it's No. 21 so it's on the revised list below ;

On The Road (In dispatched order & Red if not stated otherwise)

No.09 - mani (Yellow) - VXR reg plate - July 19th
No.35 - R1 nur - standard - July 26th
No.10 - boxy'svxr220 (Moonland) - July 28th
No.26 - annie (Black) - ohlins - July 30th
No.11 - rasputin - VXR reg plate soon ? - July 31st
No.25 - vxr220 - VXR reg plate - Aug 13th

No.21 - FOR SALE NOW - £29995 in Archie Moss Showroom, Loughborough

Above owners - please correct any of my errors or guestimations

Cars On Order so NOT definitive numbers !!!

10. HF_evolution - Aug 18th ??
13. joss - ohlins
26. spratbegonda from Graham at picador - ohlins
39. cheeky chops - ohlins?
41. FOR SALE or SOLD ? - £LIST ? contact Wayne at Crownhill
44. dunky
50. VXRandy
56. ryder - ohlins
57. StuVXR - VXR reg plate
63. sixspeed
__. Ratboiler
__. Vermania (Blue) ??
__. waverunner

Lotus also said the numbers on the car was just about the order they went through motorsport BUT the person who wanted the final number will get that one.

Well if you've seen my 'VIN & V5 don't match' topic you might conclude that I should not have No. 25
