Thorney, vauxhall dont really give a s**t. I love the car its a shame that vauxhall does care about the customers that part with hard earned cash to pay for them. p*ss up in a brewery comes to mind. Sorry for the strong feelings but if I run my business like vauhall there would be no business

Sad but true.

It's not confined to VX owners - my dad is looking for a testdrive in an Astra 2.0T and has given up - Dealers either offer a 1.6 or nothing & vauxhall.co.uk can't even be bothered to respond to an eMail I mean, we've only spent £60K on Vauxhall's over the last 10 years so it's little wonder

There are 2 parts to vauxhall, the manufacturer and the dealers.

absolutely. I sent Stu a txt saying thanks - when i spoke to him i got the feeling he was banging his head... he does as he says and keeps you informed, i cant ask for more really.

A thanks txt is the last thing Crownhill will be getting off me - i had to ring them up AGAIN to see if the car was fixed WHY THE fcuk DIDNT THE SALES MGR GET STRAIGHT ONTO ME AS SOON AS IT WAS FIXED.... "Mr Chops, your car is ready " No. When i went in he was as frosty as fcuk. I checked the car over, signed and left.

And somehow the mileage had got to 36 miles I will be checking with Stu as the receipt says "10"

Also there was only 2 bars of fuel in it. Yes, they didnt even fill the tank up Thats 47 GRAND i have spent at Crownhill in the last 18 months plus servicing plus warrenty work. Somebody need shooting there, and the sales manager should be at the front of the queue

How many miles did everyone have on there cars when they picked them up? (ohlins?)

I had 10 miles on the clock. The dealer told me that a drive was part of the PDI.....I spoke to Stu who told me it wasnt...so the dealer had to PDI my car without a test drive! car has now 4500miles on it...and its very smooth mani

mine had about 30miles but this was because wayne went to pick mine up from the depot he did ask me first. mine didnt have a pdi ian

Yours did get a PDI, just wasn't test driven on it, didnt think there was much point since I had just driven it 12 miles to get it there, but everything else got checked.

Sitting here reading this as a dealer I wish I could do some thing to help, but we can only inform people what vauxhall tell us (not alot usualy) and as a forum user I am gutted for the people waiting, I wish I could do some thing to help, Possibly in future.

Just been informed today that there is a car due to land at another dealer that I spoke to today, I will keep you all posted numbers etc, the dealer doesnt understand how theyve got it as they never ordered it, so it may be for sale, any one fancy a vxr delivery miles going cheap????? Cant advertise it as I aint allowed, until we pay for a banner cant get a banner until I get a price!!!

Dint mean what I said as a dig, just that MSIT are pants usualy! your car will be with you erm, well this week, or maybe next but that is only antisipated delivery! Bloody useless! but us dealer get the ear bashing!

No 44 getting picked up from Lotus tomorrow and bringing home to daddy. If I haven't got a 1000 on it by Monday - it must have been raining. Car lives in Daventry so if you want to meet it let me know. Ohlins are on but Milltek exhaust to be fitted in a week or so. Can't praise the sales person (Joe CLarke) or dealer (W.Grose in Northampton) highly enough. Dunky.

Collect #38 tomorrow. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to Lotus to collect the car as I had hoped but I did saw the car at the dealers today. It looks even prettier than I thought it would in Calypso Red and it has only 8 miles on the clock plus a full tank of fuel! Can hardly wait and don't expect to get too much sleep tonight. On top of all this, the nice weather man has predicted a very sunny day's weather tomorrow so its going to be rag top down and a Porsche hunting we will go!
