Got the VXR 1430hrs wednesday am I a happy bunny or wot!! will go get my digi cam and post a piccie. So plzed, even though there was no VXR exhaust fitted!!! and no sun visor. Will go to A/F early next week, will have to try to stay outa trouble till then, espec this week end driving with all them made VX drivers Welcome to the Evans house hold VXR number5

No 44 turned out to be no 37 but what an amazing day. Glad I had the day off - spent about 40 mins outside the motor all day. Can reccomend collection from Lotus and Ohlins highly. The car is everything I imagined - give it a 2 weeks to be sure then bye bye SAAB.

The car is just awesome isnt it!!! Got 400 miles and its soooo fast, even on 1/2 throttle!!! Going away for a week then its armourfend and "hello 600 miles" i have reduced the damping on the Ohlins as i found the factory setup abit too firm for everyday

Has anyone else taken out GAP insurance? If you are interested the there are some internet sites which are offering original invoice price protection at £300....but you must take it out soon after you register the car...(ie within 90 days) Mani

I paid....AXA underwriten at £269...on the internet......you can get a premier policy at £369

a worth spending a token amount just for that peice of mind...

Basicly this policy covers you for a £10000 short fall for 3 years and covers you to invoice price, say you had a bump, you paid £27k insurnce pay out £19k this will pay you the diffrence it will also pay you £250 toward your insurnce excess Mark

Collected # 38 from Archie Moss in Coalville yesterday. Cheers to Simon and Darren for a speedy 10-day delivery time and free Supagard inside and out . What a motor! I haven't had this much fun in a car since my daughter was conceived . This must be the fastest road legal go-kart around and handles like its on rails . All respect to GM and Lotus for investing in the development of such superb no nonesense cars and long may they continue to do so . Soon be sun up and time to scrap the flies off the windscreen from yesterday's exploits before setting off for round 2 . Excellent!
