Me neither. My Vauxhall dealer told me that Stu H is no longer at Vauxhall. Mind you he also told me the earth is flat, mobile phones will never catch on and Busted are better than the Beatles.

Hi everybody. As you may have already guessed I have no. 36 It's not bad - I have had Elises and Esprits before. Funnily enough this is the first car I have had that has had 2 engine faults in its first 2 months. Air flow meter both times. And of course the usual rattles. Looking to power up to 280bhp. Looked at Courtenaysport.co.uk but I don't think they have done a VXR yet.

VXR36 - welcome. I thought the AMM issue had been sorted....but clearly not. Best thing is to get a new filter and get a new AMM also. It seems that oil based filters seem to cause problems with the fragile AMM. I had mine replaced at 2k and now I have done 6k and no problems as yet. Alternatively you can play it safe and downgrade to a paper filter.......but then you wont get the sound! Munkeh, regarding badges, they were shipped to owners quite a while back, with the letter informing owner that the car had now moved into Lotus Motorsport for the "VXR" treatment. If you havent received one yet......then it may be a long wait. regarding certificates....Stu promised to get them out once all VXR were sold....not aware of current status though.... Mani

Maybe we can organise a meet after xmas and get as many VXRs there as possible. It would be good to compare notes etc...
