Think My Stater Motor Is Broken

Car wont start sound's like a flat battery so i had it on charge all night .Still the same the starter motor sound's slow . I put new battery on less than a year ago . So i push it of and went to wear i got the battery from .They put new battery on .NO difference so they put the old one back on . they did all the check's and they think it may be the starter motor .Cud it be any thing else ?????? help please . Got the under tray of still had i quick look at where the starer motor is .Is it easy to get of ?????????

Some people have had trouble with their ground strap. Try putting a jumper cable from the engine to the chassis.

Some people have had trouble with their ground strap. Try putting a jumper cable from the engine to the chassis.

Thanks will try . but they checked earth and supply

Thanks will try . but they checked earth and supply

No good 'checking' the grounds, unless you see good voltage across the starter while it is cranking. Dodgy grounds test fine until you start putting cranking amps through them.

Yes that's wot its doing. Had starter motor of to day it looks and smells burnt out . plus iv snapped a bolt of which holds a wire on . Ordered one of eBay. Hope it comes soon ! stuck a home till i fix it . good job there's not much work at the moment :groupjump:

12564088 is the z22se starter motor 93176061 is the vxT, which looks like the one you have just bought :rolleyes:
