You also have to bare in mind, in order to be able to accept Visa directly you have to have some sort of merchant account and be fairly well vetted. The bank/visa would withdraw your card processing facilities from you at the first sign of trouble.

I've not seen this Chargeback think before, it looks like it will do the job, although theres no legal recourse as the is with Section 75. If credit card isn't an option then this looks like the next best bet.

Yeah credit card would be the best but it will mean more delays and hastle while Seb gets a card or transfers it to someone with one.

I buy A LOT of stuff from the internet uk/us/china and I virtually allways use my Visa Debit card, never had even a hint of an issue.

I dont even think twice about buying anything nowadays.

Doing two seperate payments with my VISA card. One soon, and the second when all the kits are packaged and ready to go, as I'm still waiting on some peoples payments to come through. They are signing an affidavit declaring they will hold onto the funds in escrow until the kits have arrived our end.

So I'll have to ask my bank why they suggested the wire was the safest method of transfer.

if you pay by wire transfer it's your money and the bank would lose nothing if a transaction went tits up

if you pay by visa and a transaction went tits up you would lose nothing and the bank would lose the money

which method do you think the bank prefers
