Good suggestion, and I have already rung him up about a week ago, he does a pair of rotors for £285 inc VAT. With the 1/4" bolts per wheel at £15, that means the rotors for all 4 corners + bolts will be about £630 !! Mental.Have you tried Reyland? They seemed competitive when we were looking for replacement rotors using AP Bells.

I would if I could be sure of not being kicked off for 124 dB of noise (that's what I measured in the cabin last time I measured it at full chat).Book national track slot.. more drivers needed.. deep down you want to

pop along to your local track for a noise test..easy..
124db.... thats gotta be something poorly made or very much wrong with your exhaust

What happens if you get pulled over by the police?
Just a big fine, or will they confiscate the car?

Nothing, amazingly in the UK there is no sound check done by the government test. The 124 dB is at maximum revs with the roof off by the way, so it's not that noisy going down a high street at 30 MPH obviously. What happens if you get pulled over by the police? Nice.
Over here they will confiscate the car, and you are allowed to change the exhaust back to oem at the police station.

(My bold of the word annoyance, which is how they could protest the noise)."Basically what that means is if you are seen: Driving in a careless or inconsiderate manner Driving on common land, a footpath or bridle way or any land which is not part of a road Driving in a manner which is causing/has been causing, or is likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public. Then a Section 59 warning can be issued to you. This warning is placed against both the driver and the vehicle and lasts for 12 months. If the driver of the vehicle or the vehicle with the warning issued to it is then seen driving in any of those conditions again in the next 12 months the vehicle can be seized and, if not collected after paying for recovery and storage costs, it will be crushed. Please note that this relates to either the driver with the Section 59 or the vehicle."

You can get into trouble. Think this has been discussed before.
