You do know you're supposed to put things in it before you turn it on?

Wasn't willing to mix it with any plates etc as the food might end up inside the hidden oil baffles. As it is, there are a couple of slices of mushroom floating around in there from some previous usage.

I've been opening the door and rotating the part around as I'm keen to flush the internal oil baffle system as best as possible, as I expect that's where all the "gloop" ends up solidifying.

Having the right sort of girlfriend is the answer, or maybe you need to use your bull-whip more on yours!

The latest quandry is what sort of paint to use on my cam cover. Obviously I've cleaned it, will rub it down a bit and then etch primer it.

Was thinking of some new hideous colour like this: https://www.ebay.co....id=391825541732

Anyone got any tips on what type of paint I should use, plasticy/enamel/other based? Unfortunately I can't even remember what cans I used on my block and cam cover last time. :(

The cam-cover is all masked up and etched with acid primer and I've ordered up some pearlescent orange top coat off the interweb.

Whilst I was online I have finally remembered to order a new thermostat which I've been meaning to do for about a year, as the current one is "sticky" and doesn't seem to control the temps as well as it used to.

Girlfriend went out to do something this morning, so I thought I'd help out by doing some domestic chores... :ninja:

It's the first time I've ever tried to use it and it took me an embarrassing 2 minutes to work out how to shut and lock the little hatch that holds the tablet, and then start the bloody thing. :ffs:

I've been using the dishwasher to clean car parts for years.  I always wait until the SheDevil is out, but made a mistake a few years ago when I left some carburettor parts in and forgot about them and they were found.  Never lived that one down, she always trots this story out in company when women are talking about the ''dreadful things their husbands have done'.  Strict instructions never to do it again which of course I've totally ignored.  What the eye doesn't see etc.  Same with washing trainers in the washing machine.  Have to be careful with that one because they can cause the drum to go out of balance on spin causing the machine to thrash about all over the place, or as in one instance unhook a connector to the drum balast inside.  Denied all knowledge of course as I repaired it, despite a third degree interrogation.  I hope you used the heavily soiled pans cycle.

I'm bored, so I thought I shove up some pics that I've also put on Farcebook. The new smaller front wheels look a little lost in the arches, but they currently have the wrong size tyre on them (which the seller conveniently "hadn't realised").

Apparently nice and sunny tomorrow morning (Sunday) so I'm all prepped up for a dawn trip to Wales tomorrow, currently trying to plan a few new roads on Googlemaps...

About 2 or 3 degrees, barely anything as it operates as a genuine wing (as opposed to just deflecting the airstream).  It's so little that rain that falls on the flat surface does not run off it.
