I've been working too hard. :(

But will be "fixing" that problem soon I think. :)

Rumors is that front S2 wishbones are 8 mm longer and Exige V6 ones +15 mm ...
But I never made any measurements...

I wonder what the nett effect would be if one just plonked a full set of V6 Exige front wishbones on a VX... has anyone tried it, is it even possible without major fitting issues?

My info is

Lower front VX220 wishbone should be 378

And S2 front lower wishbone is 386mm.

Have someone in here mesured the front V6?

I could measure my V6 lowers if it’ll help?

From centre of bush to ball joint? Or overall length?

Center of bush and then a perpendicular line to to center of ball joint.  :-)

Yes indeed this would be very useful. 👍

Just checked my notes and I removed 20mm from hub and 5mm from steering arm to get to 5° kpi so total 25mm increase in upper wishbone length not 20mm as I stated earlier.
If the V6 upper fr wishbones were 15mm longer this would bring the VX kpi down to around 7.5°. I was running at 7° for a while and imo still very worthwhile.
Another variable to check if still using the VX lower wishbone is for and aft position of the V6 upper ball joint in relation to the VX original as a small variation could have a big effect on caster.

Why do you want lower kpi?
Also do you have any pictures how you elongated the wishbones?

kpi , reduce the lifting effect , balance out the self centering torque. Has caster angle been mentioned as the two are combined.

how many have increased the wheel offset / wider front track?

Kpi is countered by caster angle on turn in but the both are very much non linear in relation to steering angle. Castor has most influence on camber at small steering angles then kpi takes precedence as steering angle increases hence why VX front camber flops over to positive on tighter turns.

We have been discussing possible effects of increasing scrub radius which can be done with more wheel offset.

The longer wishbones are at the platers atm as soon as they are back I’ll post some pics.

Next trackday 7/5 at Zandvoort I will experiment with some 5mm spacer plates on my fronts, as calculations show that I now have around +2mm scrub radius with the 205-40-17's om my ET20mm DTC wheels. Curious if I can feel a difference of the +7mm scrub...

You mean a difference of the -3 scrub radius.. ??? Don't you ?
If you are currently at +2, you spacer will add 5 mm of " negativeness ", leading to -3...
Just wondering...

No, the 5mm spacer adds positive scrub radius, so 2+5...

Do you have stock front uprights and wishbones? How much camber?

Since jacking my job in 6 weeks ago, I've mostly been away on a 4050 mile (extra slow!) road tour round the Alps + Slovenia + Croatia. I made a point of going up as many passes and tiny roads as I could and rough camped every night in various beautiful spots, often above the snow line.

It was probably the best road trip of my life, contrasting the mountains with the sea and then back to the mountains helped keep the views fresh. Also, going in late May meant the roads had very little traffic. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes natural beauty.
